Pure-Rest's wood foundations are built using sturdy, thick, hard pine. To construct these foundations a wood frame is covered in a layer of pure, organically processed wool from organically raised sheep and organic cotton, which provides airflow to control moisture. The sides are quilted to match Pure-Rest's latex mattresses. These foundations are sturdy and strong to support a latex mattress, with 3.5" wide slats spaced 2" apart.

  • Cotton is grown in the USA.
  • Wool is from Northern California, Oregon, and Washington.
  • Pine is from North America, Europe, or Asia.
  • Manufacturer's warranty: 10-year fixed, 20-year prorated.
  • Shipped direct from the factory by common carrier.
  • Wool-free (vegan) foundations are available with a doctor's note stating that wool is not recommended for the patient, and a note from the buyer stating that you recognize this style does not have flame retardant properties.

For the budget-minded, these sturdy Douglas Fir slats (3/4" thick) joined together with jute webbing, can be used on a metal or other style bed frame to support our latex mattresses. Shipped direct from the Pacific Rim factory in Oregon by UPS. Lead time may be 1-3 weeks depending on inventory and availability of raw materials. UPS shipping is FREE when purchased with a mattress!
