Benefits of Natural Rubber: Hevea milk is the liquid rubber that is harvested by tapping the sap of the Hevea brasiliensis—the common rubber trees grown in Sri Lanken and Malaysian plantations. It's a little known fact that Hevea milk naturally contains an antibacterial substance that is also a dust-mite repellent.

Natural Rubber...Natural methods

The latex/rubber in Suite Sleep's mattresses is made using an injection system that produces the purest natural product, for mattress cores that keep their shape. Only air, natural soap, and natural vulcanization agents are used in the manufacturing process.

The Wool

All wool batting in Suite Sleep's mattresses and toppers is 100% pure wool grown in the USA. It is processed without chemicals, dyes, or oils so it contains no residues from processing; just time-honored warmth and absorbency.

The wool comes from coarse wool sheep grown in the USA by small family-run ranchers who take exceptional pride in their natural methods. These sheep are carefully bred and live a stress-free life.

During the summer months, the sheep graze on land that has never been used for agriculture; guaranteeing that it is free from contaminants such as pesticides, herbicides, and synthetic fertilizers. In winter, a well-ventilated, climate-controlled barn with clean floors is stocked daily with fresh bedding, and the sheep are fed a non-rationed supply of organic food. The animals are checked daily for continued health.

The resulting fleeces—shorn from live animals, carefully sorted, and washed with only hot water and vegetable-based soaps (no detergents, chemicals, or chlorine bleach)—contain wool fibers that are strong and springy. The fleeces are processed without the use of oils or bonding agents into wool that retains 4% to 6% lanolin, a natural repellant of dust-mites.

This European-style mattress has 3 separate layers of 100% pure natural or ogranic latex. It is designed to provide a soft, plush feeling while offering excellent, customizable support.

Suite Sleep Wood Slat Foundation

Suite Sleep Upholstered Wood Slat Foundation

This foundation is designed to be used with Suite Sleep latex mattresses. The wood slats provide extra support for latex mattresses, which are considerably heavier than innerspring mattresses. This foundation features solid wood slats, which are fitted following traditional European design and covered in a heavy-duty organic cotton fabric.

Low bed frames often require a foundation to make the mattress the proper height. Platform beds typically do not require the use of a foundation. Latex mattresses should not be used on a conventional box spring foundation.

• Stitches pulled out of the quilting
• Body indentations of 1 3/4 inches or greater
• Sagging: Your mattress must be continually supported by a matching foundation, or equivalent, on an appropriate frame. The frame should include a center support with at least 5 legs or 5 hardwood cross-slats for queen and king sets. If wood legs are used there must be 4 legs per foundation.
